Before any moisture or extraction, we dry-agitate the fabric with specialized pet hair tools — rubber rakes and mitts that pull hair up from the weave so it can be removed.

A thorough vacuum pass with a dedicated pet hair attachment picks up the loosened hair from seats, carpets, and floor mats — including under the seats where it accumulates unseen.

Hot Extraction

The Mytee extractor goes through every upholstered surface — hot water and suction pull out what's still embedded in the fabric after agitation and vacuuming.

Because it's done alongside an interior detail, it adds roughly 30 to 60 minutes to the job depending on the breed and how much hair has built up. A light-shedding dog is quick; a heavy double-coat that rides daily takes longer. We'd rather take the extra time and get it all than rush and leave hair behind.

In most cases, yes — the combination of dry agitation, specialized tools, and hot extraction pulls hair from deep in the fabric that regular cleaning can't touch. Long-term, heavily embedded hair occasionally leaves some residual in the deepest parts of the weave, but the result is dramatically better than anything a standard car wash or home vacuum can achieve.
